We’ve shown you how spyware gets on your computer and how to remove it with Spybot Search & Destroy. Now we show you another program from our arsenal called Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware we will be using their free version to remove some spyware and malware infections that maybe Spybot missed.

First off, let’s head over to their website and download their free version. –>  Link Here

Now the free version is only a removal tool for malware that is on your computer and it does not in itself prevent malware from infecting your computer. You can check out the paid version or Install Microsoft Security Essentials if your are on Vista or Windows7 or if your are on XP check out Avira to help prevent malware infections.

Once you install it, it will check for updates.

Then go ahead and “Perform a quick scan”



You can watch the files count up as it scans them.

If you have malware on your computer you will see it to start to show the number of infected files in red.

Once the scan finishes click ok and then click show results

You then can see a window showing you all the infected files it found during the scan, simple click on Remove Selected.

When it finished removing them it will show you a log file, you can close it out.

It will then ask you to restart to complete removing the infections, click yes.

Now your computer is malware free.
